Hi ,

Lots of interesting reads in this edition of ASI's August newsletter! The Canadian Climate Institute recently released a report: every $1 invested in climate adaptation could yield an impressive $13-$15 return to the economy. Talk about a smart investment! 🌱💰

With the surge in extreme weather events this summer, the report couldn’t be more timely. It also highlights a persistent challenge we often hear from our members in ASI’s Members Network: debunking the myth that sustainability hinders economic growth.

$3,500 is now up for grabs for BC residents who want their tuition covered for short-term skills training. We're pleased to see Royal Roads University's Climate Adaptation Fundamentals Micro-Credential and Professional Certificate in Management & Leadership are eligible for it.

ASI hosts electives for both of these programs - Collaborative Leadership for Climate Action and Climate Action & Transition Leadership. We may be biased but this seems like a no brainer to have your tuition covered!
