Definity Financial Corporation Supports ASI’s Climate Resilience Initiative for SMEs

 

ASI has received funding from Definity Financial Corporation to launch Climate Resilience for SMEs, a new initiative to help small and medium-sized enterprises across Canada prepare for the impacts of climate change.

 

Through this program, ASI will partner with local Chambers of Commerce, Business Improvement Associations, and Boards of Trade to help businesses within their networks strengthen climate resilience in their regions.

Most CEOs say climate investments either saved money or didn’t add to costs

 

A recent PwC survey of over 4,000 executives found that most CEOs who invested in climate-friendly initiatives either saved money or didn't add to costs. 

 

Based on their responses, PwC estimated that investing in climate was “six times as likely to have increased revenue as to have decreased it.”
