TD provides grant to support ASI's Climate Action Course for Nonprofit Leaders

We are pleased to announced that TD Bank Group is providing funding to support ASI's Climate Action for Nonprofit Leaders course, helping us offer it at a subsidized price!

Nonprofits play a critical role in our communities, delivering services like housing, food security, senior care, and more. But with the growing impacts of the climate crisis, these organizations are facing increasing challenges that put their ability to plan, deliver, and adapt services at risk.

From March 26 - April 23, 2025, this course will provide nonprofits with the resources to begin their climate action journey, adapt to the challenges of climate change, and continue supporting and serving their communities.

As we put a bow on 2024, we’ve been pausing to celebrate the incredible strides our team made throughout the year:

Our courses empowered changemakers to spark climate action, bridge silos, and center sustainability in decision-making.

We expanded eLearning to bring flexible, practical climate leadership training to businesses and communities.

Through our Members Network and public events, we brought people together to learn, collaborate, and steward change as a community.

We completed a year-long research project to elevate equity for racialized women and non-binary climate action leaders.

Recently, we’ve seen a backlash towards diversity, equity, and inclusion measures and an increasingly concerning amplification of both racial- and gender-based discrimination and violence. If you are an organizational leader who is wondering how you could contribute to a safer and more inclusive environment for racialized women and non-binary individuals in the climate and sustainability sector in Canada, we invite you to take a read of the recently-released Elevating Equity report.
