TD Bank Group Renews Funding to Keep Climate Action Education Accessible for Nonprofits

Thanks to renewed funding from TD Bank Group, our Climate Action for Nonprofit Leaders course is returning in Fall 2026 and will be offered at a subsidized rate!

This beginner-friendly course is designed for nonprofit professionals who are not working for an environmental/climate-related cause. It helps participants understand how climate change connects to their work and how to find realistic ways to bring climate action into everyday operations, programs, or initiatives, even when time and resources are limited.

Supporting Women & Gender-Diverse Climate Leaders Through Women4Climate

If talent and ambition were all it took to advance, leadership would look very different than it does today. 

Research continues to show that women receive less career support than men, from mentorship and sponsorship to access to influential networks. For women and gender-diverse professionals working in climate, these gaps can create barriers to advancement, even when the skills are already there.

So what happens when we intentionally create the conditions for more people to lead climate action?

It's a question we reflect on as we return as a training and program design partner for the 2026 Women4Climate program. Because when more people are supported to lead, we strengthen not only individual careers, but the climate movement as a whole.

Diversity in Sustainability Launches New Report 

Join Diversity in Sustainability on June 16 for the launch of their new report! The event will go through their findings on inclusion, advancement, and systemic change in sustainability. It will cover:

• What career advancement actually looks like for racialized professionals in sustainability

• How to build networks that are purposeful without being transactional

• What organizations need to change on hiring, pay equity, and talent development

• How to move from stated commitments to measurable action 

Building an Energy Future Canadians Can See Themselves In

What does good leadership look and feel like in the energy transition? Last month we had a wonderful conversation about reshaping systems that power our lives in ways that are not only sustainable, but also equitable, community-centred, and rooted in care.

We explored why equity metrics deserve as much attention as emissions metrics, how community trust shapes decisions people make, and what's needed to help more young people see themselves working in the energy transition.

Thanks to funding support from Definity, Co-operators, and RBC Foundation, we have a limited number of highly subsidized spots available for 2026 in our Climate Resilience for SMEs program. 

Building on a successful pilot in 2025 with the Abbotsford, Saint John Region, Greater Moncton, and Fredericton Chambers of Commerce, ASI partners with Chambers of Commerce, Business Improvement Associations, and Boards of Trade to deliver climate resilience education. 

Together, we create an eLearning course you can offer to your small- and medium-sized business members with the option to pair it with an in-person workshop, online webinar, and/or coaching sessions.
